It has also been confirmed that they won't be using the old engine they have been using for Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas but will be using a whole new, in-house engine instead.
And looking at the story and some of the rumours in Oblivion it looks like we're heading north to the land of the Nords.
