But now we are a bit older, let's admit it, so I won't propose to watch the 3 movies one after the other in anight but that all of us decide of a common schedule around which we'll all watch the same serie of movies (one per week) and then discuss about it in here (I'll try to have the topics ready on time but TLF staff can help as well
).From several questions I've received it seems we need some clear explanations about how the marathon takes place. Here they are.

We have one movie to see for each week of the marathon. In the current case, LOTR, we have three movies so the marathon will took place on three week, starting on Friday April 10th. Here are the dates:
- Friday April 10th: we watch The Fellowship of the Ring sometime during the week. End of the votes for Marathon#2.
- Friday April 17th: we start the discussions on the forum about The Fellowship of the Ring and we watch The Two Towers sometime during the week.
- Friday April 24th: we start the discussions on the forum about The Two Towers and we watch The Return of the King sometime during the week.
- Friday May 1st: we start the discussions on the forum about The Return of the King
- Friday May 8th: we start Marathon #2. End of the votes for Marathon#3.
Preparing this marathon and running it will be also a nice reason to change avatars/sigs, have special questions in the quizz, and so on, and so on ...
For the first marathon I propose a serie most of us must already own in our dvd collections:
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (the long versions preferably
).
In order to let everybody prepare themselves, I propose that we start the marathon on Friday April 10th and watch the film one by one on the three week-end (11th-12nd, 18th-19th, 25-26th).
