Apparitions' season #1 is about to end on BBC1 and the dvd will be released at the begining of January.
I've discovered that series thanks to Bradaviel and I really thank him for that as this show is really enjoyable and I won't deny I've been caught by it

This first preview of the first episode will give you a good first impression of the series. I warn you it contains a lot of spoilers for this first episode but also assure you you've seen nothing from the series itself

Indeed Apparitions starts quite slowely, it does take its time and the first episodes remind of The Exorcist which is good but lach a bit of originality though. And suddenly from episode #5, the series clearly takes another dimension but I'll resist the temptation to tell you why and invite you to see that by yourself as soon as possible

If Martin Shaw is perfect in the role of Father Jacob, the rest of the cast is as good with special mention to Rick Warden who supports a lot of the series' tension and "credibility" on his shoulders in the difficult role of Mickael.

I will wait at least the end of season#1 to grant it a mark but I doubt for now that it will be below 4/6. The atmosphere is really catchy, the cast is involved and the directing is really great for a TV show but that's quite an habit for BBC... (could they send some people in France to learn them their know-how ? ... I'd really LOVE to introduce you to a great French TV show once ...
